I want to be depressed, but I don’t have time.

Today is a day that I’d like nothing more than to crawl up in bed and sleep a few days.

I might just burst into tears if this adjustor lady doesn’t work with me. Maybe it’ll melt her stone? I doubt it.

11. I am claustrophobic, it’s the only only phobia I can think of right now. I don’t think it’s considered weird though.

17. The last lie I told… Well, the last one I remember was saying I knew a lot about cars… which is only half true. I do know enough to make it believable to anyone who doesn’t know anything about cars though :)

41. The last book I read was called Velvet Elvis by Rob Bell, who happens to be from my favorite city :) Grand Rapids, Michigan. I highly recommend the book… But only when you have the time to digest the words properly.

95. Honestly, the only place I want to fly to right now is actually to Grand Rapids, Michigan… I miss my youngest nephew like crazy and he started walking now, so I want to see him in action. If I have to choose somewhere that isn’t in Michigan… I would want to fly to Dublin, Ireland. It’s stunning and lively, and I’ve missed it since I was there three years ago.

The amount of cleaning supplies that were in the back of my poor old car…

Was unbelievable.

I have an addiction to buying cleaning supplies.

On a different note though, we had Smokehouse tonight for dinner! Baby back ribs (the name sounds terrible) cheesy corn, and french fries accompanied by two lemon drop cocktails (It’s already been a hard week.) and a toll house ice cream bar when I got home…

Sure glad I ate oatmeal for breakfast and nothing else til dinner :)

Hope all of you are having greats weeks! The sun was out and the wind didn’t blow today so I can’t complain here. One more day til the weekend :) not that I have anything exciting planned… But I will be able to turn off my brain, which will be a blessing for sure.

Anyone have advice on making apartments smell good?

I’ve been cleaning the whole thing top to bottom the past week and the place still doesn’t smell that great…

But with the work I’ve been putting into my apartment… It should smell like Martha Stewart tackled my apartment or something…

On the menu this week.

All basically appetizer food and chinese inspired.

… But homemade, like it’s going to be a whole lot better for me that way.

Self pity

Doesn’t make you feel better.

It doesn’t help you.

It doesn’t fix your problems.

It does no one a favor.

When you realize you are pitying yourself, set a timer. You get one hour to dwell, whine, and ask “why is this happening to me.” Then, you are to write a list of people; types, or singled out, that have a worse life than you. You are to do something, anything that makes you happy. Even small things like to paint your toenails a crazy color you love, listening to your favorite music, or walking yourself around a bookstore while drinking some coffee will do.

Don’t wallow.

Our lives are not meant to stay the same, ever. Putting your faith in anything staying one way, good or bad, will set you up for failure.

The only constant in life is change.

Look,

Just because I make the comment on Facebook that my best friend getting a tattoo that covers his forearm will give him less job opportunities DOES NOT mean;

I hate tattoos

I think it isn’t classy (because I’d be a hypocrite, because of my own (non visible) tattoos)

Or that he will never get a real job.

I love tattoos, I’m right that there are people who won’t hire you if you have any tattoos, least of all the visible ones… And have come to the conclusion that it’s only my job to make sure you hear what I say, how I mean it and now how you perceive it.
